To provide you with a seamless coffee logging experience, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you sign up or log in, we collect your Name and Email Address. This data is linked to your unique user identity to manage your account and sync your data across devices.
• Location Data (Precise Location): When you use our location features to log where you brewed or purchased your coffee, the app requests access to your device's Precise Location. This information is used strictly to pinpoint and automatically find nearby coffee shops or save specific brewing locations for your personal logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data solely for App Functionality purposes, including:

• Creating and managing your user account.
• Synchronizing your coffee journals, tasting notes, and brew parameters securely to the cloud.
• Providing localized features, such as checking in at a coffee shop.

No Data Tracking or Advertising: We do NOT use your personal data, email, name, or location to track your behavior across third-party apps or websites. We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with third-party advertisers or data brokers for marketing purposes.

3. Data Deletion and User Rights

In full compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines, you have total control over your personal data:

• In-App Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly inside the app. Please navigate to Settings > Delete Account to trigger the automated deletion process.
• What Happens Upon Deletion: Once you confirm the deletion, your account profile (Name, Email), your subscription records, and all historical coffee logs/location entries will be immediately and permanently erased from our secure databases. This action is irreversible.

4. Data Security and Third-Party Services

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Sipio utilizes trusted backend partners (such as RevenueCat for secure subscription management) to ensure your data is processed safely. These third parties only have access to information necessary to perform their specific tasks and are legally obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hisipio@protonmail.com so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
